I’m Julie Nelson Rich Witch and I create the most exclusive, exquisite and ethical Botanical Perfumes. Proudly made in Australia, these delicious drops of fragrance are enjoyed by clients across the globe.
Each bespoke perfume is designed and hand crafted by me. Purposefully made in small batches, these beautiful blends are like fingerprints – no two are the same.
My inspiration comes from the ascent of women through the ages the world over, the Goddess divine and the symphony of magickal aromas she experiences through exotic botanicals and extracts.
My innate nurturing essence allows me to share the gift of being able to hold sacred space for women and support them on their own journey into the feminine and rise unapologetically.
I am a proud mama to my gorgeous daughter who became my driving force in discovering the world of natural therapies, namely Aromatherapy, back in the late 80's.
Our journey together has brought me to where I am today, first leading me to getting my Diploma of Aromatherapy and then working with clients for the past 28 years, opening them up to this incredible new world of scent and magick.
With a focus and passion in helping women live a full and rich experience in life, I help them explore the exquisite harmony of true natural perfumery, astrology, Moon magick, intention and ritual.
After studying for many years in Astrology and blending my personal experience with my learned knowledge, I have loved bringing these magickal extensions of ourselves together on a deep and rich level.
My magick is creating Bespoke Perfumes for women who are ready to step up into their next level in their business and personal life. These intentional perfume creations are designed with passion and purpose and act as an extension of the wearer, capturing the essence of her beautiful feminine self and igniting her soul.
My greatest joy in my business is to work one on one with you, supporting you with your emotional, psychological and physical health and wellbeing using beautiful botanical extracts and Aromatic Medicine.

Biography
Julie Nelson, Artisan Perfumer and Rich Witch, has 28 years experience as a qualified Aromatherapist, gaining qualifications in Aromatherapy, Natural Beauty and Spa Therapy, Astrology and Training and Assessment for Adult education.
With 13 years of creating the design and delivery of aromatherapy and beauty programs with two of Australia’s leading natural therapies colleges, Julie is a leading therapist who has been a driving force at the forefront of this field throughout its transition from an alternate therapy to the highly recognised and commonplace therapy it is today.
Through the layering of such a foundation Julie’s passion for beautiful fragrances and natural beauty have seen her develop a specialised and unique series of workshops and offerings in botanical perfumery to enhance and support emotional and psychological health and wellbeing.
Julie’s expertise and passion has also extended into writing for publications, including ‘Pharmacy Trade’, ‘Pregnancy Magazine’, ‘Cleo’, ‘For Me’ and various newspapers. She has been featured in ‘Body & Soul’ and appeared on radio, whilst writing for various blogs and publishing 14 e-magazines.
Julie loves working with a wide range of clients from corporate entities to business owners to women in leadership positions.
She has spoken on behalf of companies such as Colgate and Palmolive about using the power of scent for the mind, moods and emotions, she has been a guest speaker for company product launches and was contracted by Westfield Sydney for a charity event creating signature perfumes for guests.
And taking the in-person experience to a new and exciting level, Julie has set up pop-up perfume bars for special events such as product launches and corporate events, creating personalised perfumes for each guest to take away with them.
Today Julie spends much of her time consulting on all things aligned with perfume, beauty and scent branding using natural and botanical fragrances.
Being able to share her passion and knowledge is her absolute delight, offering a range of specialised individual offerings, group workshops and formal training. Each of these are tailored to the participant’s needs, whilst allowing them to access her exquisite range of natural and botanical perfume collections and bespoke perfumery.
As Joseph Campbell once famously said that all humans should “Follow Their Own Bliss” and luckily for us, Julie Nelson is happily doing this every day.
